I am back from my trip! Back from Oahu. I got back last Sunday.
The trip was a beautiful one. My time there was… relaxing, and just what my mind, body, soul, and nervous system needed.
I went to the beach often — every day — and just soaked in the ocean, the breeze, the warmth, the slight humidity, the earth, the sun, and the bird calls as much as I could.
It breaks my heart, what is happening on Maui.
Below are some photos from my time there. So very grateful to Oahu, and to the islands, to the sea, and to all life there.

I hope you are all having an amazing, and very restful, Sunday.
All my love,
Christina
Woven Song - Ólafur Arnalds. From Arnalds: “[This song] is a metaphor for being embraced by something larger than yourself while exploring new territories, the feeling of being held while you open your heart.”
Over the Garden Wall. One of my favorite shows. It is so weird, quirky, dark, strange, mysterious, enduring, funny, surprising, magical, and heartwarming. I first saw it a few years ago, and rewatched it this week. The second viewing was just as magical as the first. The title of this letter — “Ain’t that just the way?” — is something one of the shows main characters, Greg, says.
Ingénuee - Nino Carl. A beautiful piano piece.
This poem by Jarod Anderson, and in particular these lines: “Your old name is not your king. I rename you ‘Everything.’”
This magical, beautiful, calming, soothing, and lighthearted work of art.
